1. First, go to www.numark.com/idjliveii. In the Downloads section, click on Virtual DJ LE Lite.
2. This will bring you to the My Account page on Numark.com. Create a new account or sign into an existing account.
   
3. Once signed in, Register your iDJ Live II.
   
4. Once you have successfully registered your iDJ Live II, scroll down and locate your Virtual DJ LE Lite License Code. Copy and paste this to another location for use later, or write it down exactly as it appears.
   
5. Click on the link just below the license code (www.virtualdj.com/download/updates.html). This will bring you to VirtualDJ.com. Create a new account or sign into an existing account.
   
   • Note: If you create a new account, once you finish creating your account, VirtualDJ.com will send you an e-mail. Go to your e-mail provider, find the e-mail, and click on the link provided in the e-mail to finish activating your VirtualDJ.com account. This will bring you back to Virtual DJ.com.
     
6. Once you are signed in and your account is activated, choose My Account.
   
7. Scroll down to the Software Licenses section, find the License code that you obtained in Step 4, and enter it into the box labelled 'Serial Number'. Then choose Register.

1. Finding your VirtualDJ LE License Number (keycode)
Once you open the box to your new controller, you will find the hardware, accessories and documentation provided by the manufacturer. Your VirtualDJ License Number will also be included in the box (in most cases) in one of the following locations:

• On the sleeve of the installation CD (if included)
  
• On a label attached to the bottom side of the controller
  
• On a separate card located in the packaging
  
• Directly from the manufacturer's website (registration of your device required).

VirtualDJ keycodes can be identified by a 13 character alphanumeric code separated by 2 dashes; followed by a slash with it's hardware ID. The License Number should be clearly identified as a VirtualDJ serial or keycode separate from the hardware's serial/ID number.

In order for this to happen, you will need to login with a VirtualDJ account, so that the keycode can be registered.
