Whenever you open a window in Finder, you’ll see the “Favorites” section on the left sidebar. Did you know you can put whatever folder you want in that sidebar? Google Drive automatically gets added when you sign into the Google Drive app but you can add other folders there too.

To add a folder to the Favorites Sidebar:

- Find the folder you’re interested in. Click and drag the folder into the Favorites sidebar until you have a horizontal line in between two things and let go. It will drop wherever you place it.

- OR - you can select a folder and then go up to the File menu at the top and select “Add to Sidebar'

To remove a folder from Favorites:

- 'Right-click” (two-finger-click) the folder and select “Remove from Sidebar”

- OR - click and drag any of the favorites away from the sidebar. Doing so will remove them.

To restore a favorite that’s 'built in' like AirDrop:

1) Click the Finder menu at the top of your screen and select Preferences.
